“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.  

Matthew 5: 14-16

At Padbury we believe that everyone of us has a light to shine, whether it is academic, drama or sports orientated, artistic or otherwise. We all strive to be the best that we can be in everything we do. Our lights are there to be shone and to shine for others within and beyond our school. 

Our values underpin our vision, enabling us to show how we can shine our lights and these are seen in action every day in school. They are:

Trust.

If we all shine these lights, the world will be a better place.  It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of a school that cares about the whole community and knows that it is up to all of us to make a difference.
